A 21 year old from Douglas has admitted assaulting police officers who caught him defying a bail curfew in a nightclub.
Tyler Jack Snape of Anagh Coar Road pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance on January 14.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes heard while he was on bail for those offences, he’d been ordered to stay at home between 9pm and 6am.
But shortly before 2am police found him in Bordello nightclub on Douglas promenade.
Snape admitted two counts of assaulting an officer and one of assault with intent to resist arrest after the court heard he’d turned violent when confronted by police.
Mrs Hughes denied a bail application and remanded him in custody until his next appearance on April 23.
