A man who assaulted his ex-girlfriend has been fined.
42 year old Craig Brereton pushed the woman into bannisters at his home on Lakeside Road in Douglas on July 3.
He admitted assault when he appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse - the hearing was told the woman suffered minor injuries during the attack.
He was fined £750 and ordered to pay £125 prosecution costs.
