A man from Douglas who denies threatening an off-duty police officer will appear in court again on Tuesday.
Jacob Peter Hogg of Palace Road is said to have approached the detective in Bathurst Street, when he got into her car.
The 33 year old also denies carrying a bladed article in a public place on March 27.
He was remanded in custody by Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes and will appear again on Tuesday, April 10.
