A Douglas man accused of trying to smuggle £24,500 worth of cocaine to the Island has been bailed.
Anthony John Richard Lyons of Spring Valley Road appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
He denies assaulting a woman, resisting police, being concerned in producing cocaine and possessing cocaine.
Mrs Hughes said the case was so serious it would have to be heard in the Court of General Gaol Delivery and bailed Mr Lyons in the sum of £500 to next appear on December 21.
