A serving prisoner has appeared in court accused of smuggling items into Jurby jail.
Dean Peter Barter of the Isle of Man Prison appeared at Douglas Courthouse before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
He faces a total of six charges, all relating to the same incident which happened on January 15 this year.
42 year old Mr Barter hasn’t yet entered pleas to any of the allegations.
Mrs Hughes remanded him in custody and he’ll appear in court again via live video link on June 4.
