A man accused of having tens of thousands of pounds worth of heroin delivered to his home will appear in court again next month.
Frank Jones, also known as Harrison, appeared before High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 41 year old denies being concerned in producing heroin and possessing it with intent to supply it on July 17.
The court heard a package had been delivered to Mr Jones containing 62 grams of heroin worth between £37,000 and £75,000 which he gave to another man.
After he was arrested, he told officers he’d accepted the parcel as a favour to an old friend but didn’t know there was anything illegal inside.
Mrs Braidwood refused to grant bail and remanded him in custody until his next court appearance on October 3.
