A man's facing trial in the Court of General Gaol Delivery after denying possessing and making indecent images of children.
The man - who can't be named after Tynwald members voted to protect the identities of alleged sex offenders - denies six counts in total.
The court heard 46 indecent images were found with some at the worst end of a scale used by police.
He was committed to the higher court to appear on September 5, and bailed until that date.
