A glazier accused of carrying out benefits fraud over more than six years is alleged to have wrongly claimed more than £36,000.
Andrew Fenton of Cronk Grianagh appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 45 year old, who runs Window Wizard Glazing, denies four counts of failing to inform officials of a change in circumstances and five of making false representations to obtain benefits.
He’s said to have committed the offences between January 2016 and April this year - a previous hearing was told the case was so serious it would have to be heard by the Court of General Gaol Delivery.
Mrs Hughes bailed him in the sum of £500 until his next court appearance on October 21.
