A Peel man who allegedly burgled a house and attacked an occupant with a baseball bat will stand trial at the Island's higher criminal court.
Connor John Lewis of Albany Road appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes via a live videolink from jail in Jurby.
At an earlier hearing, the 20 year old pleaded not guilty to aggravated burglary at a house in Glen Maye Road in Patrick on February 13.
There was no bail application and he was remanded in custody - Mrs Hughes committed him to the Court of General Gaol Delivery, where he'll appear on a date to be fixed.
