Money Saving Energy Efficient Lights Installed in Primary Schools
The Department of Education and Children’s works division are undertaking a major amount of work during the Summer Holidays in order to get numerous projects completed in the quiet period.
All five of the Island’s secondary schools will see improvements made, Ramsey Grammar are having a new floor put down in the sports hall, while St Ninian’s are having a new roof put on their gymnasium.
The Isle of Man College is also having works carried out with the its training restaurant having a complete refurbishment.
A batch of energy efficient lighting is being installed in 3 primary schools also, geared toward making the Department major savings in the future.
