Proposals have been submitted to redevelop the former Marine laboratory site in Port Erin.
The Department of Infrastructure have reached an agreement with Sea Breezes Publications after the company were granted ‘preferred developer status’.
They’re proposing to convert the existing buildings into a small 12-bedroom hotel which will come with a café, meeting rooms, lecture theatre, dive centre, retail unit, and offices for Sea Breezes publications.
The proposals would see a substantial investment for Port Erin and provide a long term investment for the site.
