A major housing development is being proposed in Castletown.
Commissioners in the town have put forward plans to build 133 homes in the Westhill Estate and School Hill area as part of the redevelopment initiative taking place there.
The local authority says the properties would be designed to create a mix of sustainable local housing reflecting the demand of the town and will incorporate the commissioners properties on Coronation Terrace.
Officials added they plan to hold a drop-in session next Monday (September 16) with members of the design team and any residents which could be affected by the work will be informed of the event when it's confirmed.
