A survey carried out during this year’s TT has revealed there were 25,000 visitors here for Mad Sunday.
Head of tourism Angela Byrne said this statistic has confirmed their suspicion that the Mad Sunday weekend is the busiest of the fortnight.
In total, 40,000 biking fans visited the Island, spending around £25 million.
However, Mrs Byrne admits there are areas to focus on next year to ensure they can continue building on the TT's success (audio):
