Police were forced to close parts of the TT course eight times on Mad Sunday following accidents.
A number of incidents were reported around the course, leading the emergency services to close roads while they dealt with them.
The Mountain Road closed for three hours from 8am as debris was cleared from the road surface - the planned simon Andrews Memorial Lap, expected to atttract up to 9,000 bikes, had to be cancelled.
Officers say they deal with other crashes at Keppel Kate, Cronk y Voddy and Kirk Michael through the course of the day.
