Lump-sum payments of up to £75 are being made available to help those on low incomes with heating costs this winter.
Those on low incomes who don't receive any income-related Social Security benefit payment will be able to apply for the 'Variable Rate Winter Bonus'.
People can apply for £25, £50 or £75 - with government saying it's in light of rising gas and oil prices.
Winter bonuses are already available for those receiving income support, income-based jobseeker’s allowance and employed person’s allowance.
