Police are investigating after a pedestrian narrowly escaped injury after a heavy load fell from the back of a wagon in Douglas.
It happened on Wednesday lunchtime on Athol Street in Douglas near to the Java coffee shop.
The flatbed lorry lost control of a number of wooden planks as it turned onto the road from Prospect Hill.
