A family of four had a lucky escape this morning after they crashed near to the Ballaharra sand quarry on Peel Road.
Emergency services were called into action at 7am when the Land Rover, and the trailer it was towing, went over a hedge and into a field.
The four people were able to escape from the vehicle unaided – they were checked over by paramedics but didn’t require treatment.
The road has been closed until 12.30pm whilst the scene is cleared.
