Works on part of a busy road in Douglas will see a near 7-week closure to through traffic.
In a post on social media, the Department of Infrastructure says it will be resurfacing the lower section of Victoria Road.
Works are set to start from around Monday, February 20 - and are due to be finished by Saturday, April 8.
They'll be from just below the junction with Stanley Place (near Broadway) to just below the junction with Marathon Road.
The department says due to the narrowness of the carriageway - the road will be closed to through traffic whilst works are underway.
However a staged approach will be taken:
Phases
Phase 1 - Stanley Place to Eurocycles - Monday 20 to Saturday 25 February
Phase 2 - Eurocycles to Woodville Terrace - Monday 27 February to Saturday 4 March
Phase 3 - James Place tie in - Monday 6 March to Friday 10 March
Phase 4 - James Place to Princes Road - Monday 13 March to Saturday 25 March
Phase 5 - Princes Road to Marathon Road - Monday 27 March to Saturday 8 April
The Department says the planned works have been phased to minimise their overall impact, with pedestrian access maintained at all times and businesses open as usual.
