The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it wants catering vans at plantations to be able to open longer.
The department has applied for vans at Conrhenny, Archallagan and Chibbanagh plantations to be able to open from sunrise to sunset.
When planning permission was granted earlier this year, they came with conditions they couldn't open between 6.30pm and 6am.
However, DEFA says it wants them to be able to open for longer.
