DED member Laurence Skelly said there are a lot of high-profile productions in the pipeline.
The first picture made as part of the Pinewood partnership, Belle, has recently secured a distribution deal ensuring it will be seen in cinemas.
Filming of the costume drama took place between September and October, with Castletown Harbour doubling up as Bristol docks.
