The restoration of a local steam train has been recognised by the Heritage Railway Association and nominated for a prestigious award.
The No. 5 Mona was cosmetically restored by the Isle of Man Steam Railway Supporters Association, who say they are 'delighted and honoured' to be one of the ten nominees.
It was unveiled this year in time for the 150th anniversary of the railway.
The Association are also currently continuing work on their next cosmetic restoration project, on No. 9 Douglas.
