Early reports would suggest a local lad is set to wow the judges in tonight's X Factor episode.
23 year old Simon Lynch may be known to some on the Island for his performances on stage and on the local pub circuit.
In tonight's episode he performs the Beyonce track, If I Were a Boy, with the online write up suggesting he has the celebrity judge panel's attention from the outset.
In particular he impresses Simon Cowell who told him it was a great audition, and he sees fantastic potential in the Manx man.
It will be revealed tonight if he's done enough to continue on in the show.
