Schools around the Island are taking part in Active Travel Week following on from the success of last year's campaign.
The government initiative aims to motivate pupils and families to think about how they travel to and from school, and encourages walking and cycling.
Assemblies and workshops will run in a number of schools throughout the week, and teachers will be able to nominate students for an Island-wide prize draw.
There will also be prizes for pupils who find a 'golden lock' on their bicycles to celebrate the installation of shelters at some primary schools.
