A local pharmacy will now be able to disperse medicinal cannabis products.
The government announced they were looking for pharmacies to offer the service earlier this year, and after evaluating the responses one pharmacy has been offered the licence.
They're looking to start as soon as possible, aiming to have the service in place in the coming months.
The successful pharmacy will be announced next week.
