A local man plans to run 330km in Italy to raise money for Cruse Bereavement Care Isle of Man.
Orran Smith will take on the challenge of the Tor des Geants race next month, which involves running more than 200 miles.
He commented raising funds for a local charity will help him plough on through an arduous, tough course.
Chief Executive of Cruse, Mary Doyle, says after raising £11,000 for the MS Society with his last challenge, 'it would be terrific if this amount was raised' again.
