The Island's Hospice has received a £1m donation from a local man following its own 'financial challenges.'
Retired entrepreneur Ivan Soulsbury donated the funds, after reading the charity's financial reports - which showed a £3.16m loss last year.
Ivan is now calling on other wealthy individuals and organisations to rally behind the charity.
Hospice Isle of Man relies on around £5m in donations to provide palliative and end of life care to the community.
