A Douglas man is hoping to swim around the Island this summer, to raise money for a charity which helps people at risk of taking their own lives.
David Higson says he'll tackle the 100-mile marathon to raise cash for Isle Stand Up To Suicide, which operates an emergency telephone hotline for those in crisis.
He plans to tow a raft with his food, equipment and camping gear and says he hopes to complete the challenge in five days if the weather's good.
David's set up a donations page on JustGiving.
