The Manx Electric Railway says it's had two incidents of trams being out of control in the last 21 months.
A Freedom of Information request asked about runaway trams on the line which runs from Douglas to Ramsey.
In particular, they wanted to know how many such incidents had happened since January 2025.
In its response, the Department of Infrastructure said it had recorded two runaways in that time.
