Peel lifeboat have been congratulated for their professionalism in a personal letter from the RNLI Operations Director.
The letter is thanking the Peel crew who carried out a rescue in October getting a yacht which suffered both engine and steering failure.
They faced the challenging task in gale force 9 winds taking them almost four hours.
The yacht was on its way to Wales from Scotland.
