A local high school has stopped selling plastic bottled water.
Ramsey Grammar School implemented the move from the start of this month - switching to refillable water flasks.
The school has been given a helping hand by Conister bank who've provided the flasks, and the government who have installed water filling stations.
The school says students are now able to refill their water bottles, and have the choice of buying cordial from other students - with all the proceeds going to a charity of their choice.
Ramsey school is now also working with the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture to find out further ways to reduce waste and recycle other good.
