The Craig's Heartstrong Foundation has screened the 10,000th heart on the Isle of Man.
The charity was set up in the memory of local footballer Craig Lunt, who died in 2005 aged just 25 as a result of an undetected heart defect.
Over the past 16 years the charity has been able to help detect hundreds of issues, that the individuals were able to seek further help for to rectify, in two cases requiring major life saving surgery.
Charity Chairman Paul Healey BEM described it as a momentous day, and says they can't wait to hit the 20,000 milestone.
