A local charity has donated £1,000 to 'Shelterbox' and 'Aquabox' - which both 'actively send aid' to Pakistan.
Rushen and Western Mann Rotary have sent the money to the two charities as the country is experiencing severe flooding.
What's been described as a 'monsoon on steriods' has resulted in more than 1,300 deaths - a third of which are believed to be children.
Multiple officials and experts have blamed the unusual monsoon rains and flooding on climate change, including United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who earlier this week called on the world to stop “sleepwalking” through the deadly crisis.
