Local charities are not immune to the pressures felt by other local businesses at present.
That's according to Sight Matters who said there are two clear factors attributable to the downturn:
The charity which caters to the Island's blind and visually impaired community said they are working to combat the downturn by announcing a raft of varied fundraising events that will hopefully bring people out in their droves.
The latest of which is a Blind Date night, inspired by the beloved 90s tv show.
