A cat in Port St Mary has died after ingesting Antifreeze.
Port St Mary Commissioners took to social media to share the news.
The board says a local woman has sadly lost her cat after it was poisoned by the liquid.
As a result, officers are asking people to be mindful before disposing it - as the substance is fatal to cats.
Most people are unaware of the danger to pets from antifreeze poisoning - eating the smallest amount can cause kidney failure and death, especially in cats.
