Local businessman will stand for Douglas North by-election

A local businessman has declared his intention to stand in the upcoming Douglas North by-election.

Ralph Peake has run lighting company Luminaires for the last 23-years.

He says his extensive business experience could prove valuable in helping government to build the economy.

The vacant seat was created following Bill Henderson's elevation to the Legislative Council.

Mr Peake says he is looking forward to meeting the Douglas North constituents in the coming months:
