The local man killed following Tuesday mornings accident on the St John’s to Kirk Michael road has been named as Davy Jones.
The incident involved Mr Jones’s Suzuki motorbike, a white Yamaha and a bin wagon.
Mr Jones was a well known and respected figure, and a highly decorated golfer.
Police closed the roads for eight hours while they dealt with the incident, the rider of the Yamaha was taken to hospital for treatment.
