An Isle of Man based author is one step closer to seeing his books made in to a TV series.
A leading international entertainment group , which specialise in film and TV content, have signed a television development deal with Chris Ewan from West Baldwin, to make his novels into a television drama series.
His books, the Good Thief's Guide series, have been sold worldwide. He lives on the Isle of Man with his wife and told 3FM he can't believe the news.
He said it's what every author dreams of, and is so enthusiastic about the prospect of seeing his main character Charlie Howard breaking into television schedules in the near future.
Noreen Halpern, President of Dramatic Programing with Entertainment One Television said: 'We're big fans of Chris's Good Thief series and looking forward to working closely with him to develop a compelling concept for the TV series. In addition to our work with Chris, our current production of Haven is based on Stephen King's The Colorado Kid.'
