A local ultrarunner's become a world champion and record breaker.
Sarah Webster won a race in the World 24-hour Running Championships in Albi, southern France.
She took victory in the women's title against 161 competitors and beat the previous world record set in 2023 by an athlete from Japan.
Her race involved completing 185 laps of a 1,500 metre circuit, making for a total distance of 277.5 kilometres, or more than 172 miles.
