Well now you can thanks to a local animator who has published his restoration of Douglas - back in the 1880's.
Entitled 'A stroll through 1886 Douglas,' Stuart Green has made the animation available on youtube.
It features various landmarks across the capital including - the Step Down Inn, the Old Lifeboat House and Bulls Head Inn.
