Three environment charities have come together to call for more Manx government action to combat the problem of litter on the Isle of Man.
Three Pieces of Plastic (3PoP), Plastic Busters and Beach Buddies have issued a joint statement calling for the problem to be a "top priority" ahead of the general election in September.
Between them , the groups are responsible for removing more than 200 tonnes of litter every year from beaches, glens, plantations, roadsides and footpaths.
They believe the government isn't doing enough to tackle what they call "a major issue with the disposal of fast food packaging, plastics and drinks cans".
Founder of Beach Buddies, Bill Dale said the island is recognised internationally as having some of the cleanest beaches in the world but there is still a major problem with street litter.
He's calling for it to become a major election issue along with climate change and renewable energy.
