Douglas Council says there was “limited interest” from people interested in taking on the tender for the Bottleneck site over TT.
The Douglas site has been occupied by Bushy’s Brewery for the last 15 years but the future of its beer tent was thrown into doubt at the end of last year.
It was after the council decided to invite tenders from other interested parties as a way of ensuring it was good value for money.
Bushy’s has now been awarded the tender for the next three years - a decision Councillor Ritchie McNicholl says he ultimately expected:
