45 year old taken to Nobles after complaining of chest pains on board fishing vessel
The Douglas lifeboat received a call out earlier this afternoon to assist a fishing vessel after one of its crew had taken ill onboard.
The Douglas Coastguards confirmed to 3FM that a 45-year-old fisherman on The Aztec vessel had been reporting chest pains.
An RAF helicopter was scrambled and arrived at Nobles Hospital just before the lifeboat got back to base.
It was confirmed that the man was taken to A&E at Nobles, no further details are as yet known.
