Douglas Lifeboat was called out early this morning to help a yacht which was becalmed off the Island's coast.
The RNLI crew was called out at 2.40am when the wind dropped and the vessel, with two people on board, found itself with insufficient fuel to make it into port.
The Sir William Hillary found the boat, from Kirkcudbright, two miles from Douglas.
She was towed safely into harbour.
