Two RNLI lifeboats were called out earlier this week in the south of the island.
It followed reports on Wednesday night of paddleboarders experiencing difficulties in Castletwon Bay.
The group was quickly located- they were all uninjured and able to make their own way back to shore.
An RNLI spokesman said anyone involved in watersports should have safety equipment with them at all times.
