Port St Mary lifeboat was called out on Monday night to help kayakers thought to be in difficulty near Sugarloaf Rock.
The RNLI’s inshore lifeboat located the kayaks, each with two people onboard, to make sure make sure everyone was safe before returning to harbour.
A spokesman has thanked passers-by for raising concerns and stressed if you do see anyone in difficulty around the Manx coast you should always call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
