Peel's lifeboat went to the aid of a yacht that got into difficulties more than 20 miles from the Island yesterday.
The Ruby Clery launched at around 6.30am on Thursday morning when the yacht reported engine trouble 23 miles Northwest of Peel.
The Popinjay 4 was travelling from Girvan to the Island with one person aboard - they guided the lifeboat to their location with a signal flare.
The vessel was taken under tow and arrived in Peel at 11am.
