Lifeboat crew in Douglas have been brushing up on their sailing skills.
Seven RNLI crew members took part in yacht training with Douglas Bay Yacht Club.
They learned essential skills that may be needed if they were called to the aid of a aid of a sailing vessel at sea - including raising and lowering sails.
RNLI Douglas says it's hoping to develop its relationship with the yacht club in future.
