Ramsey lifeboat went to the aid of a yacht after it got into difficulties off Maughold at the weekend.
The RNLI crew launched at 1.30pm on Saturday when a 26-foot yacht ran into trouble in heavy weather around two miles offshore.
The lifeboat found the yacht, and towed her back to Douglas, where she and her crew were met by coastguard officers.
The Ann and James Ritchie returned to Ramsey and was ready for service at 6.30pm.
