Port Erin's lifeboat crew was called into action yesterday when a yacht got into trouble a mile and a half from shore.
The lifeboat was called out just before midday when the nine-metre vessel suffered engine failure and a twisted mainsail.
The RNLI crew found one person aboard, who was beginning to suffer seasickness as the yacht drifted in a stiff force 5 breeze.
Volunteers went aboard and helped sail the vessel to Port Erin - nobody was hurt in the incident.
