Peel lifeboat was called to a distress signal in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The RNLI volunteers found a yacht which lost its mast and communication systems.
All three passengers aboard were uninjured and the vessel was towed safely back to Peel harbour.
Coxswain Mike Faragher said the rescue was difficult as conditions were rough.
